I’m Christina, and hair is my obsession. My interest in hair began as a child; I received a Barbie Mannequin head as a gift and the rest is history! Throughout my childhood I practiced my craft by braiding and styling my friends’ hair. My future was inevitable—I was destined to be a hair stylist. I began my career at Martin School of Hair Design in Milwaukee. After much hard work and dedication, I am now a level three stylist at Capricio Salon and Spa. I genuinely love going to work every day, and making my guests happy is what motivates me to succeed.

Working as a professional stylist and makeup artist at Capricio Salon and Spa has given me endless opportunities to build my skills and meet outstanding people. Over the past three years I’ve attended numerous Advanced Color and Cutting classes in and around the Milwaukee area. Similarly, I’ve traveled to Las Vegas twice and New York once to attend the Redken Symposium and Redken Exchange. In August 2010 I’ll be attending the Redken Exchange in New York in order to become Redken Color Certified—a feat not accomplished by many stylists. My work has also been featured in local fashion shows, photo shoots, film work, and 4PM Magazine. In 2009, I took home First Place in Reliable Salon Resource Group’s “Color Your World” competition. I am constantly researching new techniques online, in books, in movies, on the street, at hair shows, and through other stylists in an attempt to move forward with my career and get my name out to the public. This year, I hope to enter (and win!) the North American Hairstyling Awards Competition. My future career goals include becoming a Redken Platform Artist and Educator and to have my work featured in big name magazines, films, and fashion shows around the world.

As a client in my chair, you will receive nothing less than perfection. It is my job—and my passion—to educate you about the industry and answer any questions you may have. I am skilled in clip-in extensions, avant garde hair and makeup, bridal looks, Keratin and Japanese Relaxers, creative colors, precision haircuts, and eyebrow shaping. I have worked with all hair textures, enjoy doing color corrections, and can match any picture a client brings me. I take pride in my perfectionism and possess the knowledge of a much more advanced stylist. I will give you the look you’ve always wanted but could never seem to find.
