My name is Geri-Beth, and I am a stylist at Capricio Salon and Spa. As a student of the Gill-tech Academy of Hair Design, I excelled in hairstyling and coloring, and won school-wide competitions in both categories. Since graduation I have continued to learn new techniques, grow personally and professionally, and stay on trend with the latest hair colors, cuts, and styles. I see my profession as much more than a job—to me, hair styling is a form of art, and it is my greatest passion.

Before beginning my career at Capricio, I took numerous advanced courses including Eufora long hairdressing, Tigi cutting techniques, Joico Color Trends, Chi Color Trends, Schwarzkopf “Essential Looks for a Modern Life,” Iso Current Trends, Andis Clipper Cutting, Schwarzkopf Product Knowledge, and Unite Product Knowledge. I am certified in Schwarzkopf color, Cinderella Hair Extensions, and Chi Silk Japanese Hair Straightening Specialist. Now I am a Brazilian Blowout certified stylist at capricio Salon & Spa!  I excel in cutting, fashion-forward coloring, and multi-foiling techniques. Since joining the Capricio team, I’ve participated in various Redken Advanced Color courses and technique development classes. Outside of the salon, my work was featured in a fashion show at Decibel Nightclub. Models sporting my work can also be seen in various Fashion Bug photo shoots and runway shows. My future career goal is to become an educator so that I can share my craft with stylists around the country.

I take pride in the fact that I have extensive training in multiple areas of the hair industry. Similarly, I am constantly striving to be the best.  As a Stylist, I believe that listening and communicating is the key to creating a personalized cut, color, or style. I will listen to my client’s needs and wants and deliver beautiful, precise results. When asked, I will share my own creative ideas to fit each individual’s lifestyle. I believe that hair trends are inspired by international fashion and I stay current on the latest trends and techniques. I create a professional yet fun environment, and I enjoy seeing my guests happy!
