My name is Kim, and I recently began my career at Capricio Salon and Spa. I’ve always been drawn to hair, so when it came time for me to make a decision on my future, the beauty industry was the place for me. I graduated from VICI Beauty School at Bayshore at the top of my class, and took home first place for my work in the “Total Look” Competition. Currently, I am an associate to the owner of Capricio Salon, Munem Abukhamireh, and am excited about starting my career as professional hair stylist.

While pursuing my education at VICI, I participated in various fundraisers, Cut-A-Thons, and Milwaukee area promotions. My work was also featured in fashion shows for Kohl’s Department Store and Bayshore Mall. In the future, I hope to expand my education through Advanced Technique classes and watching the talented stylists at Capricio Salon and Spa. Ultimately, I would love to be involved in all aspects of the cosmetic industry in relation to popular culture—news, movies, fashion shows, and photo shoots. In fact, I sometimes gather the best ideas and inspiration from popular culture. For example, I can take a picture from a gossip magazine and transform it into a hairstyle that fits the personality and needs of my client.

As a stylist I am motivated, dedicated, and creatively open. I enjoy creating diversity in my work, and I am able to learn new techniques rather quickly. I value the importance of having fun with my work while maintaining my professionalism, and I like creating a relaxing, comfortable environment for my guests. As I begin my career at Capricio Salon and Spa, I hope you’ll join me for the ride. I look forward to working with you!
